My family came to Canada from Jamaica in 1981. We settled in Missisauga which is just outside Toronto as you can see on the map to the right. Later I moved to Barry's Bay, which is in Eastern Ontario, closer to Ottawa, the capital of Canada. |
The buildings above were actually designed to remind you of Marilyn Munroe's figure! The buildings are in the city centre, called Square One. |
We had a lovely brunch at Cora's on my last visit in September, 2014. Cora's is a restaurant chain that started in Montreal, Canada. The food is delicious! |

Barry's Bay's population is about 1,200. It doubles or even triples in the summer when the tourists arrive. |

Zurakowski Park was officially opened on July 26, 2003 in Barry's Bay. It honors local resident and world-renowned test pilot, Janusz Zurakowski. |
