Why  start very young?

    •     Research has found  that learning a second language is much easier before the age of six  or seven. As a child's brain forms new neural connections, the  second language is assimilated as the brain develops, making it  easier to learn.
    •     Learning that second  language early makes it easier to get the right French accent and  pronunciation.
    •     The longer you learn  a language, the more proficient you will become, so encourage your  children to start as early as possible.

What are the  benefits for the children?

    •     Children not only  learn the words in both languages, they discover another culture,  sense of humor, other ways of expressing themselves.
    •     Children thus develop  a more open mind as they start to understand that  people  think and express themselves in different ways. They become true  citizens of the world.
    •     Several studies have  shown that taking a second language will help children perform better in other subjects such as maths and  indeed English. Overall school performance tends to improve and  problem-solving skills appear superior in children who have been taught a second language early in life.
