Khloé Kardashian: Kris Humphries Must Survive My Family's 'Initiation'

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries seem to be handling their long-distance relationship just fine – but according to Kim's sister, Khloé, the couple has another challenge waiting in the wings.

"I don't think Kris knows what he's getting into," Khloé, 26, told PEOPLE the other day, while promoting her new E! reality show Khloé & Lamar. "He hasn't been around all of us yet. He hasn't been to my mom's house with the chaos, so the initiation process will happen this summer – if he lasts. If he can get out of that alive, then he's good to stay."

If Humphries, 26, does survive meeting Kris Jenner and co., it sounds like a carefree summer is in the works.

Matt Damon: Kissing Michael Douglas Is Like Kissing Catherine Zeta-Jones

He's done the math, and Matt Damon sees hidden benefits to kissing Michael Douglas in their upcoming biopic about the late, flamboyant pianist, Liberace.

"I never thought I would get to kiss Michael Douglas," Damon, who will play the boyfriend of Douglas's Liberace, told PEOPLE Tuesday at the premiere of a different film, the documentary His Way, in Los Angeles.

"I kind of think of it in algebra terms, back to my high-school days," added Damon. "It's like the transitive property – by kissing Michael Douglas, I am making out with Catherine."

Mother-to-be – of twins! – Mariah Carey nearly had her hands full on her birthday, Sunday, March 27.

The babies, Carey, 42, Tweeted in the early hours of Sunday, "really wanted 2 celebrate w/us/share the anniversary! I started having contractions last night..went 2 the hospital."

Then, she said, "They almost came on 3/27- happy anniversary in deed!!! We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow!!!: )"

Kate Winslet's Life Saved by Mildred Pierce Costar Guy Pearce

Guy Pearce is great to work with. In a pinch, he'll even save your life.

Kate Winslet found this out recently while filming Mildred Pierce for HBO. The period piece required Pearce, 43, to drive an unwieldy 1929 Cord automobile with heavy steering and awkward gears. And at one point, with Winslet, 35, in the passenger seat, they had a very close call.

"We'd finished a take, and a van came onto the road that we were on without seeing us," Pearce told PEOPLE at the miniseries' premiere this week in New York. "We both had to sort of swerve to get out of each other's way ... and I thought ... wow!"

Reese Witherspoon Marries Jim Toth

Reese Witherspoon is legally married.

The Oscar-winning Legally Blonde actress, 35, tied the knot with her very own leading man, entertainment agent Jim Toth, 40, on Saturday evening, her rep confirms exclusively to PEOPLE.

The couple, who became engaged in December, tied the knot in a private ceremony at Witherspoon's ranch estate in Ojai, Calif.

A pre-wedding cocktail hour took place before the 20-minute ceremony, which started a bit late. Witherspoon walked down the aisle to "Here Comes the Bride."

Those in attendance included Witherspoon's children (with her first husband Ryan Phillippe), Ava, 11 and Deacon, 7, as well as Renée Zellweger, Sean Penn with Scarlett Johansson, Tobey Maguire, Robert Downey Jr. and his wife, Susan, and Alyssa Milano and her CAA agent husband, David Bugliari.

The Official Cakes for Kate (and Sweet-Toothed William) Revealed

How sweet it is – a multi-tiered, traditional fruitcake will serve as a centerpiece of the wedding celebration of Prince William and Kate Middleton. on April 29, it has been announced.

A British "floral theme" will adorn the creation baked by Fiona Cairns, who started her business around her kitchen table 25 years ago. The cake will also be decorated with the couple's new cipher – most likely made up of their initials – which will be unveiled on their big day.

Also on the refreshment menu for the reception: a chocolate-cookie cake, made by Royal Appointment after sweet-toothed William, 28, specifically asked for it. The McVitie's biscuit company is producing the dessert, made from a favorite recipe of the Windsors', for the party.

Elizabeth Taylor: Details of Her Final Days

In her final weeks, Elizabeth Taylor had a lot of friends drop by her room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

"We talked about how it's really hell getting older," says Debbie Reynolds, who spoke to PEOPLE about her onetime rival and longtime friend. "We were complaining to each other about that, like two girls would."

But on the last night of her life, it was only her four children who were by her side as the last true Hollywood goddess passed away from congestive heart failure on March 23.

"She was comfortable and it was peaceful and she was surrounded by her children," says her close friend Sally Morrison, who also shared her fond remembrances of Taylor, 79, with PEOPLE.

Joe Guidice Arrested (Again)

Trouble has come knocking again at the doors of the House of Giudice.

The 40-year-old husband of bankrupt Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice was arrested on Friday, say news reports.

According to the Passaic County's Prosecutor's Office, Giudice, whose driver's license is currently suspended, fraudulently obtained a new one in June 2010 using his brother's identifying information.

The charges, if successfully prosecuted, could result in up to 10 years in prison on the misappropriation-of-ID charge. A forgery conviction can carry an 18-months' sentence.
