In project six I designed a brochure for Parker Elementary's Math Day based on the activity that my partner Chelsie and I planned to perform that day with the students. I had used Publisher before to make cards and posters for some of my classes, so this once again was a refresher, but it was different in the sense that it was the more updated version of the program then the one I had used in high school. I wanted to make our brochure as colorful and creative as possible, using the background from the actual game and pictures to help support the theme of our lesson. Overall I had alot of fun working in publisher because it allowed me to be creative, which is something I really enjoy. Plus it was great to see the teachers on math day talk about how cute our brochure was. I would definitely use this program in my classroom to help students express their creative side and tie both computers and art into my classroom.
