For this project, we seperated the class into groups and each group designed a webquest on the topic of their choice. My group chose to do Beatle Mania as a topic. The beatles, arguably the most prolific band of the 20th century, ushered in a new era of music when they arrived in New York in 1965. Our Webquest explores some of the songs and lyrics that optimized the beatles social and political agenda. the student analyzes the songs "Revolution" and "Imagine," and explore the impact these songs had on American culture. In addition to this we even encourage the student to write a song of their own in the same fashion as the Beatles. They pick a cause and write lyrics about what the cause is, why it is important to them, and what they can do about it.
