My name is Michelle Loomis and I am currently a Senior, childhood education student at SUNY Cortland. I am originally from Buffalo NY, where I attended the Hamburg School System. I have always enjoyed working with young children, and therefore have known for quite a while that I wanted to become an elementary school teacher. After Cortland, I plan on returning back to Buffalo, NY to recieve my masters from SUNY Fredonia in Literacy. One day I hope to receive another degree. This time in administration. I believe that the school systems need a lot of work, and I want to work to make them better. Therefore I hope to one day have the opportunity to revamp the education system here in New York and throughout the rest of our country.
