Now there are many types of clocks in the world, but two of the most common are Analog clocks and Digital Clocks.

The clock on the left is the Analog log, and the clock on the right is the Digital.
Parts of a Analog Clock
The
numbers on the clock are read beginning with 12, and then to the right
with 1, 2, 3, and so on until we get back to 12. Clocks also have
"hands" to help us to tell time. They aren't hands like we have!
Let's look above at the clock on the left.
There are 3 "hands" coming out from the middle.
Short hand = Tells us the hour
Long hand = Tells us the minutes
Skinny hand = Shows how many second are left in the minute.
