Project #6

For this project we had to use Microsoft Publisher 2007 to design an educational brochure.  We chose to make one that advertised our summer camp on the plant Venus for an assignment in Science.  We included activities, rates, dining, and a brief description of the facility.  Some of the technical difficulties we had were making the text and pictures fit inside the existing text boxes.  I feel this would be an excellent project for students to do that would integrate a major curriculum subject and art.  Teachers could both count the project as credit for an assignment, but grade the students on different criteria.
