A City School Every community has at least one school. In the United States, there are many public schools where all children may attend free of charge.  Children usually begin school around the age of five and graduate around the age of 18.
There are also many public libraries in the United States. At a library, you may borrow books and videos free of charge after you obtain a library card. To get a library card, you only need an address. Make sure you return anything you borrow on time....otherwise, you will be charged a fee! A Library
A Bakery A bakery is a great place to buy fresh bread and pastries. Most communities have a bakery, but you might need to look a little bit harder to find it!
The Post Office is an important place to know in the community. Here you can buy stamps to mail a letter or the postal workers can also help you mail a package. At the Post Office you can also apply for a U.S. Passport which you will need if you want to travel to another country. The Post Office
A Museum There are many different kinds of Museums: Art Museums, Historical Museums, Science Museums, Music Museums, Natural History Museums, even museums dedicated to airplanes and space exploration! Museums are full of interesting information and a great place to spend a rainy day!
Most communities in cities have a park. Parks will usually have a playground as well as sports fields. Many youth teams use public parks to hold practices. On a sunny day, a park is a great place to spend some time outside and get some exercise. Barry Park
