For this project we worked on creating our own puzzles. This is a great skill to have as a future teacher due to the fact that puzzles can be used for homework assignments, review, independent work or if made challenging an assessment. We used http://puzzlemaker.school.discovery.com/WordSearchSetupForm.html, Microsoft Word, and lastly paint to make the image appear below. To make the children more interested you can have them create their own puzzles using vocabulary words for the week and have their peers solve them. Click the image below to see my puzzle!
