The Socs

Task 1:  Do a Google Image search for images that you think represent The Greasers and The Socs.  Find 2 or 3 images for each group.  Paste them into our Google Doc and beside each image, explain, using references to the text, why that image represents either the Greasers or the Socs. 

It is important to choose images that would not represent the opposite group as there is a very strong conflict between the two groups in the novel.  Note: The images don’t have to be perfect.  They don’t have to be exactly like what you imagined in your mind or saw in the movie.

Think and write about what makes the Greasers and the Socs different.  Why do they fight?
