For project 5 I worked with two other classmates. We worked as a team and designed and published a Web Quest on the Olympic Events. We have entered a lot of information on the history of the Olympics and created a task that students will need to complete. We used Google Sites to set up the website. We used Google sites because each of us needed to take part in designing this website. We do not have Nvu on our home computers and Google Sites has the technology where you can share a website and others can add to it. These really worked for us and let us work from home on this project. I think that creating a Web Quest could really be an advantage to teachers in researching information and designing a resource that students could easily navigate through. The students will be able to access the information that I only want them to navigate through. Designing a Web-Quest will be a very helpful resource in my future teaching career.
