Project One


For project one, I learned how to create my own personal webpage for my ePortofilio.  I became familiar with the program called Nvu and the certain tools it offers to help create my webpage.  When I first learned about this program, I was very nervous that it was going to be difficult to use.  After a few lessons and classes on the program, I became aware at how simple it actually is to use.  I learned how to insert graphics and animations and create links.  Nvu also offers many tips each time you open the program which are very useful.   I have put a great deal of thought into each page to make it visually appealing and to make sure it is easy to navigate through.  Once my webpage was completed, I learned how to publish it on my own personal web address.

I became very familiar with this new program to help establish my own webpage.  Although at times it was confusing, it was very interesting to learn about all the different aspects that go into creating a webpage.   As a future teacher, I understand how important it is to incorporate computer technology into my classroom.  It is also important that I understand the basic concepts so I will be able to help my students.
