Project Five
For project five, we created a webquest designed for students to leanr
about a specific topic. This project linked to our Social Studies
class, therefore my group decided to create a webquest on the
Montgomery Bus Boycott. At first, our group was very undecisive
on what topic to choose. We realized how important it is to
narrow a webquest down to one simple event. We also decide to use
the NvU program instead of GoogleSites. Although it was
frustrating and confusing at times to use Nvu, i found it easier to
work with than GoogleSites. I also learned how to create a table
using this program.
As a teacher, I fell that this is an excellent way to display new
information for children. Children these days love using the
computer, so I feel that children would have fun with the webquest.
All of the information is clearly displayed for children to
understand and the objectives of the webuest are clearly stated.
The children should have no problem understanding what is
expected of them throughout the webquest.
