Project Six
For
Project six, I learned how to make a brochure using Microsoft
Publisher. This project also gave me credit for my math class,
because my brochure deals with Math Day that we are having at Parker
Elementary School. In my brochure, I have shown what my math
activity is all about. I have also included fun facts and other
websites that students and their parents may enjoy. I created my
brochure the similiar way that I created my puzzle. I used print
screen to capture the image and then copied into paint.
Afterwards, I saved the cropped image, pasted it into NvU and
linked the image to MS Publisher. I have even used this new
technology to make a business card.
As a future educator, I am realizing more and more how important it is
to be able to use technology. A brochure is an excellent way to
inform students and parents of what is going on in the classroom.
Students were able to take home this brochure to show their
parents the significance of math day. It is also a creative way
to display information, other than on a
regular piece of paper. By using MS Publisher, I have realized
how many different ways I can display information in an appealing way.
