Un / Una  = a

Unos / Unos = some

Un is used when you are talking about 1 of a masculine object or words that start with el

Un libro, un bolígrafo, un cuaderno

Una is used when you are talking about 1 of a feminine object or words that start with la

Una mesa, una pluma, una pizarra

Unos is when you are talking about some of a masculine object or words that start with los

Unos libros, unos pupitres, unos papeles

Unas is when when you are talking about some of a feminine object or words that start with las

Unas mochilas, unas sillas, unas impresoras

**** Remember the same rules for plural words still apply.

To make a word plural you need to make both the article and the word plural.

Remember words that end in a vowel you just add an “s” to the end

Words that end in a consonant you add an “es” to the end
