Project number three was to create a puzzle using the Discovery Education
Puzzlemaker. I decided to make a word search. I used the vocabulary list to
create a list of words related to Autumn Harvest. I entered the title, size of
puzzle, and my word list and clicked the button and it made me a puzzle right
away! After creating the puzzle we had to take a screen shot of our puzzle to
make a picture link from our projects page. I had never done this before and I
didn't even know it was possible. All you have to do is push the screen print
button and then paste it in a program, and then the entire screen becomes an
editable picture. I put this screen shot into Microsoft Paint then cropped it
and added some auntumn leaves to make it more colorful. Once we had this picture
in our projects page we had to create a link to the Word Document. This skill will be helpful in my future as an educator.
