In project # 4 our class did two things. First we created a fun name poem on Microsoft word. For this part of the project we used word art and position to get our words in the right place. We used adjectives that corresponded with the letters in our name. And we also used fun colors to really make our name poem unique. For the second half of this project we were again able to use microsoft word to create an educational handout. I chose to do Loving day which is June 12. Loving day symbolizes the date when interracial couples were allowed to marry in the United States.The name comes from Loving v. Virginia (1967), the landmark Supreme Court decision that legalized interracial marriage in the United States. This is very personal to me because I am in an interracial relationship.
