3. Co-construction: Regular vs. Irregular Past
Look at some examples of regular and irregular verbs. What is the difference in what makes them change from present to past?
Regular past tense verbs

With regular past tense verbs, we add -ed to the end of the present tense form.
With irregular past tense verbs, the spelling changes but does not follow one certain rule. We must memorize all of these verb forms.
