Project 6: Microsoft Publisher

For this project, I created a brochure.  To create the brochure I used Microsoft Publisher.  I also used programs such as NVU to create my web page and WS_FTP to publish my web page.  To begin, I opened Microsoft Publisher and chose the option of brochures then I selected what kind of brochure I wanted to use.  Then I wrote my content in the brochure, this content was based on the activity that I was doing for math day, for EDU 373.  I saved the brochure that I created in Microsoft Publisher and then opened up NVU to create a web page for the project.  Once I created the web page, I created a link that people could click on to see my brochure.  After doing all of this, I opened WS_FTP and published the web page.  This project will definitely enhance students' learning because now that I know how to create the various projects that Microsoft Publisher offers, I will be able to design brochures, news letters, handouts, awards, and calendars etc that the students will benefit from.  In addition, now that I know how to use Microsoft Publisher I can teach my students and they will be able to create the various projects to illustrate what they have learned or what they are studying about.
