Project #7 (Digital
Storytelling Project) was an individual project. For this project, I created a digital story
using pictures from a Relay For Life event that my family was a part of. The purpose of a digital story is to present
a digital narrative and it includes a narrated piece of personal writing,
photographic images and a musical soundtrack.
For this project, I used Microsoft PhotoStory 3, Nvu, and WS_FTP. I created my digital story using Microsoft
PhotoStory 3, then I linked it to my ePortfolio through Nvu, and then I
published my page using WS_FTP. I never
used Microsoft PhotoStory 3 before, but I found it very simple. This project will be helpful to me as a
future teacher because I will be able to create digital stories for my
students. It is definitely a more
appealing and engaging way to present information. In addition, I will be able to teach my students
how to create their own stories, which I am sure they will love to do!
