Homework Schedule
This is our typical homework schedule.

these changes written down in their daily planner.

Monday
1. Daily Math Sheet

This is a paragraph of at lease 5 detailed sentences. It should discuss how your child reacts to the reading: How they think,  how they feel, and what the reading reminds them of.  They have sentence starters and questions to guide this writing in their Reading Log. The nightly reading can be a book of their choice that is grade level appropriate.

Homework Policy
If your child forgets their homework they will fill out a "Missing Homework" Form which will ask them why they are missing their homework.  This needs to be filled out and signed by the student, signed by the teacher, and signed by the parent and returned the next day. They will also stay in the Quiet Room for a portion of recess that day working on the missed homework.  Homework accountability is a big part of entering 4th grade!
