Foreign Schools		On this page, you will find a variety of verbs.  These verbs are all called "ar verbs."  Looking at the words above, can you tell why?  If you said because they all end in the letters "ar" then you are correct.

Before learning some verbs, reveiw the following key words.
  • Verb -     a word that represents an action;  examples - to talk, to listen, to play, to swim               
  • Infinitive -     the basic form of a verb before conjugating it                                                                 

Take some time to learn the followar -ar verbs.

bailar
Bailar		Los estudiantes bailan mucho en la fiesta.
caminar
Caminar

Yo camino con el perro todos los días.

cantar
Cantar		Los chicos y las chicas cantan en la clase de música.
mirar
Mirar		Nosotros miramos la televisión a las nueve y media.
practicar
Practicar		El chico practica el fútbol americano después de la escuela.
