There are two branches of Muslim, the dominant religion in Afghanistan: Sunni and Shi’a.  Read through the similarities and differences to see why there is conflict between the two religions.  Go to the following website and read about the similarities and differences. 

Task #4: Do an interesting contrast/comparison diagram to show the similarities and differences between the Sunnis and the Shi’as..  An example would be to put all of the similarities of the two religions in the trunk of a tree and put all of the differences as the branches.  You can use any medium to complete this project, so use your imagination!  When you are finished click here.
