Summer


Summer weather in Syracuse, NY is hot. The sun is bright and shining throughout the day. Summer comes after spring and before fall. During the summer, there is no school and people enjoy swimming, going to the beach and spending a lot of time outside. People grow fruits and vegetables in their gardens during the summer, too. Ice cream is a great treat to enjoy during this season.

beach- a place on the coast of land were there is sand and water
hot- a type of weather when the temperature is very high
fireworks- a display or show on the Fourth of July
ice cream- a cold dessert or treat that can be eaten on a cone
