For this project we used puzzlemaker. The program we used was DiscoverySchool.com, where it would make the puzzle for you, once you typed in the information. We were allowed to create our own puzzle with a certain topic and useful, descriptive words about that topic. I made my puzzzle about Christmas. This will be helpful when I become a teacher because I can use these sheets as acitivities for my students when we are done talking about a certain topic, like Christmas. This is a fun activity for children to do and it helps them learn different vocabulary and important terms. Students would enjoy doing this in the classroom because they can create their own puzzle! They can pick their own topic, research a little bit about it to come up with interesting words, and then figure it out once its printed out. This would be good activity for students to do when they have some down time.
