I hope you had a nice summer, and are ready for the
start of a great year! I am looking forward to getting to know
all of you and teaching you Spanish!
Spanish 1 is a very exciting
and demanding class. At the end of the year, you will take a
Spanish 1 Final Exam. You will recieve one credit towards your
High School Graduation requirement when you pass this class and the
Spanish 1 Final Exam, at the end of the year.
A grade of 85 or higher shows mastery and is what you should strive to
achieve in Spanish 1, in order to continue to do well in Spanish 2.
In order to be successful in this class, you need to:
*come to class prepared
*behave appropriately
*complete all classwork & homework
*participate often
A solid language foundation begins with your desire to succeed. Get started on the right track immediately. The first month in a language classroom covers the basics that you will need for the rest of your time taking a language.
