Slavery was a time in history when people were
deprived of thier basic rights and personal freedom. Although outlawed in nearly
all countries today slavery is still secretly practiced in many parts of the
world. There are an estimated 27 million victims of slavery worldwide. Slavery
started thousands of years ago, it was not uncommon and it was found in most
parts of the world, however this did not make it right. No one should have to be
property to anyone else. Hopefully now you understand the disasters of slavery
and will help it come to an end!
