About the Teacher

I was born and
raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I attended Northern State
University for the first two years of my undergraduate degree. I then
got married and moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where I finished my
degree in Elementary Education at the University of Minnesota. After
ten years of Minnesota's cold winters, my family and I moved to sunny
Arizona. We lived in Phoenix, Arizona, for six years, and I received my
Master's in Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University.
My family and I subsequently moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. We lived there
for seven years and then moved to Owego, New York. We have lived in
upstate New York since 2007, and I foresee at least one more move in
our future after we retire (which is still quite a few years away).
Both my husband and I truely enjoyed the warm, sunny weather of the
desert compared to the "four seasons" of the other states we have lived
in.
My hobbies include reading mysteries, snuggling with my cats, and spending time with my family.
