Reflection # 1

In the article "Schools, teachers behind in technology use," it showed how most schools and teachers in the United States are well behind their students when it comes to technology, especially computers.  Students are beginning to use computers at a much younger age and are receiving more experience than their teachers and parents.  Schools should be pushing more for upgrades in technology, when the budget is brought up for the year.  It will benefit their students and the teachers and staff of schools could receive more training in technology to catch up.
The article ended with a set of "Technology Tips For Schools," including training aspects of technology, e-learning, and digital content.  Including more technology into classrooms will benefit students and teachers.  There are a wide variety of resources that can be included in classrooms, if the correct technology is assessable to teachers and staff.
