Day 1 steps: answer questions below

step 1-What is Thanksgiving? ( watch the video only )

step 2-Whats does Thanksgiving mean to you?

step 3-What is the name of the ship the Pilgrims came on?

step 4- start thinking about what makes Thanksgiving important to you.

Day 2 steps: answer questions below

step 1-Who helped the Pilgrims plant food?

step 2-What did the Pilgrims eat at the first Thanksgiving?

Step 3- How would you compare yourself to the Indians and Pilgrims ? we will use this table in class together

step 4- begin to print out important pictures about Thanksgiving. 

Day 3 steps: answer questions below and start your collage

step 1-Do we still eat these foods today?

step 2-What do you eat at Thanksgiving?

step 3-What do you think it would have been like to be a Pilgrim?

step 4- Print out colored pictures that you think will help explain what thanksgiving means to you.

Day 4 steps:

step 5- get your piece of paper for your collage from Miss Walda and Miss Kaminsky

step 6- gather magazines, scirrors and glue then cut out more pictures for your collage.

step 7- paste all of your pictures onto your piece of paper and put your name on it. when you have covered your whole piece of paper with pictures, tell the teacher you are done.
