About Me!

My name is Alison Brady. My father, sister and mother are in the picuture above (I am the farthest to the right). I am very close to not only my imediate family, but also many of my extended family members. I am certified to teach children from birth to 6th grade. I was born and raised in Binghamton, NY and recieved my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood/ Childhood Education at SUNY Cortland. After graduating Cortland, I moved to Princeton, NJ to live with my sister and cousin. I loved living in Princeton for the past two years. I was able to substitute for a large school district and work for a Charter School. Not only was I able to learn so much from the teachers, principals, students, and families I worked with, but I truly enjoyed myself while working there.

I moved home in May of 2015, and began my graduate work with the ESL program at Cortland. This summer I was a nanny for my cousins and their children. Together, we made a list at the beginning of summer of everything we had to do. We made arts and crafts, went swimming on every sunny and hot day we could, went to a bunch of different parks, completed the carousel tour of Broome County, went mini golfing, went to the batting cages, kayaked on our lake, saw the new hit movies...and so much more! We really did everything we could think of in our area. All of my cousins hold a special place in my heart, especially the little ones. I have babysat for most of my aunts/uncles and cousins, and have learned so much about children while doing so. I am so thankful for all of them, and honored I can be apart of their lives.
