For project number 3 we made a word seach puzzle using the Puzzle Maker, paint, Micosoft Office and Nuv. We learned about a fun website to help us create our personal word search. We copied the puzzle and pasted it into Mircosoft Word . Then we uploaded a picture as the background by using the watermark button that is located on the toolbar of Micosoft Word. Then we pasted the puzzle into paint to help single out the image. We got rid of all the extra white and lines on the page. Lastly, we uploaded in onto Nuv and created links. The final step is to use FileZilla to put your work onto the internet so that people are able to see what you created. I used this puzzle as an opportunity to help children learn about new vocabulary. I chose a guided reading book that I would use as a lesson. I chose difficult words that they may have trouble with to put it into the puzzle. It is a fun way to help the children learn new words and word puzzles are exciting and something I enjoyed doing as a child.
