This project was a lot of fun to work on. We were asked to create an acrostic poem as well as an educational handout. I used WordArt to give my poem some color. The educational handout had to have a border and either shading or fill effect. Both documents were created using Microsoft Word. I think that it is important to create such projects as this one because as a teacher I will need to be able to incorporate technology into my projects and handouts. Creating interesting handouts will capture the attention of students and make them eager to learn.
