Rita Elizabeth Atkinson
I am a 43 year old mother of six children with a husband and I care for two gentlemen with special needs in my home (They live with us like family). I finally figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up so I went back to college in January of 2004 to become an early childhood teacher and eventually a special education teacher. My husband and my children have worked very hard doing the work I would normally be doing around the house so that I can do my homework. I want to dedicate this page to them so that I can say thank you! I especially want to thank my husband who works 40 plus hours a week, then comes home and does even more work so that I can do my homework. Thanks Ron!!!

This is my sweet baby Daisy and she is a Dachshund. Every night she climbs under the covers right between me and my husband and curls up next to me and goes to sleep. She is so sweet!  |
 My two girls are so cute! Amanda (21) is on the left and Leather (19) is on the right with the glasses on. They have moved out over the past year but they are still close to home. |
 This is my friend Bill. He has been a member of our family for 14 years. Wow! that's longer than some of my children!  This is my friend David he has been a member of our family since 2005. He is such a sweetheart! |
 This is Samson he is suppose to be my husbands dog but lets face it he loves me more! |
