1.  Students will break into small groups of three or four.  Each group is given a group number.

2.  Students will do research on the internet using the websites provided to get the knowledge they think they need to be able to skillfully track animals in the wild.

3.  When all of the groups have the information they need, each group will be given a different set of animal tracks.  With these tracks, each group must find the animal that made the tracks they were given around the gym.

4.  When a group finds their animal they must write it down on the track sheet and get the new track sheet with their group number on it from the animal they found.

5.  The group then tracks the new animal and follows the same process as before.

6.  Once all six animals have been tracked correctly, the group returns to the teacher with their track sheets.
