Kim Standridge serves as a volunteer coach for Cornell, working closely with the women’s middle distance runners. The 800m All-American is also continuing to train for a spot in the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials.
A four-time Heps runner-up in the 800, Standridge was an ECAC champion in the distance medley relay, the Cornell school record holder in the 1000 and sits third all-time in school history in the 800. She earned All-America honors by virtue of her ninth-place finish at the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore.
A 2011 graduate of Cornell, Standridge earned a degree in Communication and minor in Applied Economics and Management from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. She is currently working in Cornell's Department of Communication as the chair's assistant.
