Good Job! You have completed the assignment! You have chosen specific landmarks, restaurants, etc of your hometown in Cortland. You have mentioned your favorite places and favorite things to do in your neighborhood. Then, you researched another neighborhood in Manhattan! You compared and contrasted the differences between the two neighborhoods, such as what kinds of things kids can do afterschool and what landmarks are different. Then you created a Venn diagram which showed the two neighborhoods similarities and differences. Finally, you wrote a letter to another kid in an elementary school in Manhattan and told them what you liked about their neighborhood and what you liked about yours.You now know more about your neigborhoods' history and landmarks, as well as the landmarks of another neighborhood.
