My cause is the NRA Foundation. The foundation supports organizations and programs that ensure the continuation of our proud shooting and hunting heritage. The foundation provides grants that benefit programs such as youth education, law enforcement training, hunter education, conservation, firearms and marksmanship training and safety, and many other programs. My interest in this cause goes back to my childhood and my many years of participation in shooting sports and hunting. This cause is important because I believe in the second amendment and an American individual’s right to keep and bear arms responsibly. I feel that the NRA is representative of the responsible gun owner and the foundation is an important piece to maintaining and educating those rights.
