Part of what helps students learn best is when there is fun tied into it.  Here are a few games and activities that go along with our unit about endangered animals and the rain forest.

*One deals with matching the pairs of endangered animals, one allows the students to pair the animal with its correct biome.

*For the second game is called "Caught in the Act".  Children get a couple sentences that describe each animal, as well as a map and a picture of the animal, and they will have to drag each animal to which part of the world they think it lives.

*For this game students will be able to match the animal to its correct Habitat.*

*The fourth and final activity is a quiz on tigers, where students can test themselves on how much they know, or think they know about tigers.

Despite the absence of text books and hand outs, Games and activities lets children endeavour learning through a different view point.  And it’s fun too!
