Project #2: Elementary School Website Design Contest

Project #2: Elementary School Website Design was about creating or
adapting a website for an elementary school. Creating a website for
Cassavant Elementary school, located in the Dryden Central School
District, I designed a website derived from the Dryden District central
web page for all of its schools. The project is about creating a
website that families and community members are able to access from
home, work, etc. They are able to gain information and knowledge about
important dates and events, handbooks, resources, contact information
and more. In creating my own adapted website, I used NU and WS_FTP LE
6.0. I also searched the Internet using Google because I needed to add
clip art and information from Dryden Central School District. The
project facilitates a future website for me to use. I am able to create
a website with links to possible information, contacts, programs, and
lessons which could be occurring in my classroom. Parents and family
would be able to access the information within their homes and still be
informed. If there were any questions, email addresses or comment sites
could be used for a personal website for the classroom.
