Project #8: Reflections on the Learning Journey of Technology
As I started this course, I felt confident in the material that we were going to have to present but I didn't exactly know what we were going to have to do. Creating the web page was a brand new experience for me and I found it to be a very interesting activity and to be honest, I would work on it when I had become stressed out about other work because I thought of the assignments more fun than work. The use of NVU and WS_FTP did give me some trouble during the first week but after that it was a breeze to complete the publishing of the sites I created. My favorite assignment was creating the "About Me" and the digital photo story because it involved so much information about my personal life and the people that mean the most to me. All of the assignments taught me how to present information in different presentation and allow for a change in the information given to students, parents, and other teachers or administrators. I will definitely be using the transfer of technology to my classroom. In fact, I will be using to embellish things within my personal life as well. Overall, I really enjoyed this course and I enjoyed helping other people in my class to make their pieces of work as special as it could be for them too.
