Artist Statement
Matthew Gambardella is an artist and multimedia designer from Port Chester NY. In 2011 I enrolled at the School of Visual Arts in New York City for a pre-college program, soon after I graduated from Port Chester High School in 2012. Upon my graduation I enrolled at the State University of New York College at Cortland and intend to graduate by the spring of 2016. Being a New Media design major I am quite fluent in multiple computer progams such as Adobe Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver and Illustrator as well as more traditional means of art and design such as acrylic and oil paints and the process of silk screening. In my two years at SUNY Cortland I have designed muliple flyers and posters for various clubs and groups around campus (examples of these works can be seen in my Gallery page) and this summer I have the oppuertunity to design promotional flyers, posters and even t-shirts for local bussinesses in the town of Port Chester.
