As you can tell, I spend a lot of time outdoors. I'm always making observations and looking for changes. The other day, when Patrick and I were out on a trail behind our house, I noticed that the grass was very patchy. We had had plenty of rain, so I knew that wasn't the problem. All I could tell was that it looked like it was having a hard time growing. Then, I began to notice that it wasn't just the grass. Some of the trees looked like they were starving for nutrition as well. Patrick and I didn't stay out much longer, for some reason my asthma was bothering me a lot that day, so we decided to hike back to the teepee. One thing I was sure of, I was going to ask my dad more about acid rain because I had a hunch that it had something to do with what was going on in the forest.
