Before you begin, I would
like you to think about the two Eric Carle books that we have been working with (A House for Hermit Crab and Mister Seahorse) and try to answer the following questions:
1. In what ways is the writing in the two books similar?
2. Can you think of atleast three past tense verbs that may have appeared in either text? 3. Did you notice the fact that the verbs 'said' and 'asked' were used frequently throughout both books? 4. Are you familar with 3rd person pronouns? |
