This workshop was a great experience! I have always enjoyed learning about the changes in the environment, but I had no idea how to transfer that knowledge to students. Therefore, this workshop taught me a great deal. The materials that we were given will come in handy in my future classrooms.
Gaining knowledge about certain resources I can use as a teacher is critical in my preparation. I understand how important it is to have access to websites, and programs so that my students are given the best education possible.
By having this workshop I learned that teachers have access to many resources we did not know of before. I learned that teaching a topic that is unknown can be easy by knowing the right resources to access.
Overall, gaining knowledge to resources is critical. The resources provided from the Energy Smart Workshop is only one step. I know there is many different resources out there and I know that I just have to look for them.
