What is Energy Smart?
Energy Smart is a program designed for teachers to educate themselves and their students about how to be energy smart.
How?
Teachers have developed materials and lesson plans for teachers to use to educate their students.
Why?
Students are the future of the world. Their generation is going to be the one effected most by the current environmental changes. Therefore they need to understand the problems in our environment and ways to fix the problems.

Lesson plans for early elementary, elementary, and intermediate students
Posters for creating bulletin boards and activities that correspond
Materials for the students to take home and share with their parents
Outcome of this workshop:
I feel fully prepared to educate students on environmental issues. The lesson plans and activities that correspond with them are both educational and fun to do. I believe that these resources will be a great asset to my future classrooms and to my future students.
