Part 2: Writing Your Own Sentences Using the Past Tense of Verbs


Directions: Now that you have heard some different people using the past tense, you are going to write your own sentences using the past tense.  These sentences can be the same ones that you heard me say, or you can come up with your own sentences.  Remember, you are practicing using the simple past tense of regular verbs.  These verbs should end in "-ed."  Try writing at least five sentences of your own.  If you need to, there are two charts on the first page of the project that have some different verbs and the rule for writing verbs in the simple past tense.  Write these sentences in the text boxes below:
