| Syracuse has made great strides in recruiting since their National Championship in 2003. Along with 5 star recruits Jonny Flynn and Donte Green, former high school teammates Rick Jackson and Antonio "Scoop" Jardine will join the Orange this season. As well as Junior College transfer Kristof Ongenaet and center Sean Williams, who played at the highly touted Notre Dame Prep School in Massachusetts, the same school current Syracuse basketball player Paul Harris attended. | ||||||||||||

Along with the class of 2007 players, Syracuse has recruited a number of players already from the class of 2008. Small Forward Mookies Jones from Peekskill, Ny tops out the list of 2008 recruits. Followed by wingmen Kris Joseph of Hyattsville, MD and James Southerland of Floral Park, Ny. |
