Using Micrsoft Word I made a name poem. I used Word Art to write my name down the side of the page and I used one of my favorite pictures to fill it in. Then I used a series of text boxes to write in the words across the page. I also made the background of the page a fun green color to make it more exciting! I also made a flyer using a border and a watermark in the background. I made a holiday celebration flyer that students would bring home to their parents. I used a snow flake theme and a puple color scheme. Just adding a border or a watermark makes the flyer so much more appealing. A flyer like this will catch a parents eye whereas a black and white one would more than likely overlooked.
